Schertz is home to several festivals and events, including one of the largest parades/festivals in Texas, the Schertz Fourth of July Jubilee. The event is all about honoring the men and women that serve our country. The annual Wilenchik Walk for Life raises money for San Antonio’s Cancer Therapy and Research Center, Absolutely Jazz is a one-day annual jazz festival, and Doggie Dash is held in May by Homes for Pets. The annual SchertzFest features a variety of beverages and food with live performances every September.
